5. Da Nang

Attraction: Golden Bridge & Ba Na Hills Complex Tourist. Open Times: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily.

Golden Bridge is a spectacular pedestrian bridge held up by two giant stone hands, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Golden Bridge is located in Ba Na Hill in the mountain range named Truong Son, about 25km from Da Nang city’s center. There is only one transportation which is via cable car, providing a scenic route to the bridge.

Ba Na Hills Complex Tourist (common name: Ba Na Hills) is known as one of the most famous places not only in Da Nang but also in Vietnam that any tourist cannot miss. Ba Na Hills is likened to a ”fairyland”, like a ”miniature Europe” with beautiful ancient architectural works, extremely attractive entertainment games, and fragrant flower gardens that waiting to welcome tourists to visit. All have created an extremely unique Ba Na Hills that makes any tourist unable to leave.

Coming to Da Nang, you should try to eat Mì Quảng – a noodle dish that’s less soupy than Phở, served with a variety of proteins, topped with peanuts, fresh herbs, and sesame rice crackers. In addition, specialty dishes in Da Nang can be named griddle cake, flapjack rolled with meat, grilled chopped meat and vermicelli, jack-fruit salad, etc.

6. Lao Cai

Attraction: Sapa – in Fansipan Mountain of Lao Cai Province. Fansipan Mountain is known as the “Roof of Indochina,” Fansipan offers breathtaking views over the terraced rice fields of Sapa. Some people choose to climb mountains, but this is a big challenge that requires health and endurance because Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam with an altitude of 3147.3 m. Therefore, most tourists will choose to move to the top of the mountain by cable. Cable cars operate from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily. There are other places for you to explore such as Sapa Stone Church, Sapa Lake, O Quy Ho Heaven Gate Sapa, Sapa Night Market, Muong Hoa Valley, Sapa Heaven Gate (watching the sunset), Visiting Terraced Fields in Ma Tra Village & Ta Phin Village, Trekking Lao Chai – Ta Van, etc. Sapa is not suitable for those who want to go on a leisurely, relaxing vacation or go with children or the elderly. It will be more suitable for those who love nature and would like to explore peaceful, unique beauties because the scenery is still very wild and rustic.

The specialty dish of Sapa is Thắng Cố – a traditional H’mong horsemeat stew, cooked with a variety of spices. It’s a unique culinary experience reflecting the ethnic diversity of the region. However, this is not an easy dish for everyone, especially women, and if you come from European or American countries, enjoying this dish may be a challenge.

7. Nha Trang

Attraction: Vinpearl Land in Hon Tre Island, Nha Trang which is open from 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM daily, come to Vinpearl Land by cable car offering stunning views of Nha Trang Bay. Vinpearl Land is a massive theme park featuring water slides, amusement rides, and an underwater aquarium.

In addition, you can visit Hon Tre tourist area – Hon Tre is the largest island in Nha Trang Bay with natural beaches always ranked in the top of the most worth-visiting beaches. This is a pristine island with a mild climate and few storms, so it is very suitable for vacation trips. Diep Son Island, Robinson Island, Ponagar Tower, Van Phong Bay, Ninh Van Bay, Doc Let, Hon Tam, Hon Chong, Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography, etc, are also attractive destinations for foreign tourists.

About cuisine, Bún Cá Nha Trang is the specialty dish – that is a fish noodle soup, light yet flavorful, typically made with mackerel, jellyfish, and a rich broth.
